Kia ora readers welcome back to my blog, today I am blogging about the different kinds of protests out there. We have been given the work and the activities about protest and outstanding. This is in one of our hurumanus. We have been also given and sheet to read with all the information and answers to our questions. There have been so many protests all over the world, and there have been big ones and small ones. Today I am going to be sharing with you some of the ones I have learned throughout the class with Mrs. Allan and Miss Bremner.

There have been lots of protests throughout the years, many have been successful and some have been unsuccessful. There have been changes if I had changes to be in a protest it would probably be black lives matter.  And black lives do matter!. I have placed the link to my work underneath the protest. Kia Ora readers welcome back to my blog, for 4 weeks now we have been working on the topic of Outsatnders and protest. We were given work on protest and we were to finish that work and blog it. The topic of protest that we were given was Kate Sheppard, now that topic takes us through the story about Kate's journey through woman's rights.  Here are some facts about KateSheppard and her story...

*Kate Sheppard is on the  New Zealand $10 note
*Kate Sheppard and her team collected 32,000 signatures
* The Petition that was signed was 270 meters long
* New Zealand was the first country to allow a woman to vote
* Kate Sheppard was born in 1847 in Liverpool England
*Kate Sheppard is known for her amazing leadership role and how brave she is

Football/soccar

 Kia Ora readers Welcome back to my blog today we are going to be talking about football/soccer, Football is a sport played all over the world, played by many people, children, etc. For 2 weeks we have been learning about football/soccer and the rules and drills that go with it. In every sport, you have rules, boundaries, and drills.

*Drills
*Passing-Transferring the ball from one person to another without hand contact 
*Shooting 
*Dribbling-Controlling the ball/using the side of your foot to control it.  
*Juggling
*Changing direction

*Rules
*You can not have hand contact with the ball
*Every position has boundaries
*No side tackles/ anything aggressive
*No offsides

Welcome to my blog, for 2 weeks now we as a class has been participating in sport, every week for 2 periods we have a period for sport with the wonderful teacher Ms. Bancorft Every 2 weeks we change sports, our first 2 weeks we have been learning about Netball and how it works. We also learned the rules that go with it and the many things you can do and can not do. Here are some of the MAIN rules that we learned:

Rules:

*NO STEPPING WHILE WITH THE BALL!

*Every position has boundaries that they may go and may not go

*You have to be 1 meter to be able to defend your player

*No dribbling with the ball

*You can not hold the ball for more than 3 seconds

Positions:

*WA- Wing attack
*WD- Wing defense
*GA- Goal attack
*GD- Goal defense
*GK- Goal keep
*GS -Goal shoot
*C- Center

Welcome back to my blog today I am finishing the work that has not been completed throughout this term and I am also going to be blogging about them to you guys. Throughout the term, we have been working a lot on inventors and inventions.  We have been learning a lot about this topic and I think that some things that were invented in New Zealand are really surprising. Welcome back to my blog. Lately, we have been working on articles and, I chose to look more into real articles and I wanted to make mine look and sound more like a real one that would be put into a newspaper. I know that this is not my best but, halfway through the process of writing this, I wrote it as a story, not an article so that was the first mistake but I thankfully changed it. Kia ora all, welcome back to my blog. Today I am going to be blogging about what we have been working on together as a class throughout a term. There have been so many topics we have been working on and I am so grateful to have a teacher like Matua Solomon, I could never ask for anyone better I am really grateful for you. Thank you for teaching our class, I know sometimes we can be annoying and you may get annoyed at us but we are very grateful for you and the many things you have taught us throughout this long term. Today I am here to share some of my favorite topics I have worked on, some of those topics are storytelling/improvising, games, and warm-ups, mask making the statue, and poison.

I have enjoyed every moment that we have worked on this topic, I enjoyed it so much and I don't regret being put into this class with Matua and the other students. To be able to do Drama you need confidence and standing up on a stage with people watching you is pretty nerve-wracking. I enjoyed Drama because we were able to work in groups and we would use teamwork and communication. I also enjoyed working in big spaces and on stage.
